The appointment with Artefici del nostro tempo returns — the competition for young artists under 35, now in its sixth edition — reaffirming Venice’s role as a capital of contemporary youth culture, a true laboratory and reference point for experimentation and the development of the visual arts.

Five disciplines are featured in the competition — Street Art, Glass, Image, Opera, and Narrative — and the winners of each category will have the opportunity to exhibit their work in one of the most influential and exclusive showcases on the international exhibition scene: the Pavilion of Venice at the Giardini della Biennale.

The theme of the upcoming Biennale Architettura will be "Intelligent. Natural. Artificial. Collective." — a theme that will be reflected in both the installation and the content of the Pavilion of Venice. It evokes the human capacity to face future challenges by drawing on all forms of intelligence — to engage with every kind of space, from the urban/artificial to the environmental/natural — through a multidisciplinary approach
